Here's a badge I made to promote
the Boneyard Blog Carnival. Feel free to slap it up wherever you want. In fact, I should get stickers made so vending machines, dilapidated public telephones, and shop windows all over the world can be defiled by blue trilobites.
We're only a couple weeks away from the new edition of the Boneyard, to be hosted at
History of Geology. Email your submissions to
boneyardblogcarnival(at)gmail(dot)com today!
Excellent! Did you make it David? Looks great!
ReplyDeleteNow I have to submit because I want a badge.
Yup, I made it. Glad you "dig" it! That's a paleo joke. I'm sure you've never heard it before.
ReplyDeleteYou should also host a month at the Flying Trilobite! We're totally open from March '11 onward.
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic! It's going up right now.
ReplyDeleteMake sure you let me know when those stickers are avaliable...
You're making me ponder putting up a "donate" button!
ReplyDeleteIt's a fine looking badge! The "texture" is a really nice touch. Those stripes make my eyes go a little bit Bridget Riley, which I think is perfect for a carnival.
ReplyDeleteLoving the aesthetic Dave. As I said to you before, you're the master of the limited palette!
ReplyDeleteWait...so when is the next due date? How long does the topic have to be? I was thinking about submitting something.
ReplyDeleteAll official info for the carnival will be at the URL on the badge - it's just easier to keep it all in one place. The email at the bottom is the addy for submissions, too.
ReplyDeleteThe only requirement for submissions is for them to be about paleontology - any length, and they don't have to be brand new, either.
OK, Awhile ago on my old blog, I posted about Diplotomodon from New Jersey. I haven't got around to re-posting it, but I would like to work on that one more and use it for the submission. It is not a long post, but it is an interesting story. I'll get that in ;-)
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT!!!!!
