Cool photos! I have read before that the HMNS housed the original World's Fair Ankylosaurus model, but I had not realized until rereading their blog that its mouth and tail had been altered. We have a copy or replica of the original model at the Royal Alberta Museum here in Edmonton. It's got a great head, even if the body is not quite right.
No! I hope the new paleontology hall honors the excellent reconstuctions that adorned the older one. The Ankylosaurus/Dromeosaurus/Stegoceras diorama was my favorite as a kid.
