Each theory is equally valid, should be taught in Indiana schools, and then let the kids decide.Anthony Martinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13419486642166941042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9107291904794625632.post-61613738850266964112012-02-03T17:08:06.609-05:002012-02-03T17:08:06.609-05:00I figured the article in this link was worth menti...I figured the article in this link was worth mentioning for encouragement: http://news.sciencemag.org/scienceinsider/2012/02/creationist-school-bill-looks.html?ref=hpHadiazhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10805346627826158173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9107291904794625632.post-45251202173596784942012-02-03T10:19:02.958-05:002012-02-03T10:19:02.958-05:00We really have nothing between the Pennsylvanian h...We really have nothing between the Pennsylvanian half of the Carboniferous and the Pleistocene. PEFO is one of my dream destinations. Arizona is lucky to have Bill Parker of Chinleana and (though he's in Utah now, I believe) Jeff Martz. Doing good work, and it's great to follow along with folks like Gary Vecchiarelli and Susan Drymala who get to study out there with them.davorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04970830405883835452noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9107291904794625632.post-76074260334267321392012-02-03T10:15:30.932-05:002012-02-03T10:15:30.932-05:00I didn't know Indiana doesn't have Mesozoi...I didn't know Indiana doesn't have Mesozoic strata. Arizona has very little of it, though we have plenty of Paleozoic and Cenozoic strata. Our Mesozoic strata got weathered away, except in bits of Northern Arizona and around the Petrified Forest area, which has its famous Triassic layers. The Grand Staircase includes Mesozoic strata in Utah and Colorado (one of my favorite road trips).Emily Devenporthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07256608640761617862noreply@blogger.com
